Where locals actually eat in Brookings, Oregon — from harbor seafood to date-night bistros and the breakfast worth waiting for.
- RH Pub & Grill →
Just a great place to grab some delicious food, daily specials, outdoor seating, and a great staff. We LOVE this place as it is always the same, great service, awesome staff, and the food is delicious. We do enjoy the fact that we can bring our dogs with us as well as the fantastic, IPA's.
- Pacific Sushi & Grill →
Fresh fish in a fishing town, done Japanese style. It's a small, calm room that works as well for date night as for a quick lunch, and the seasonal specials are worth asking about. It's consistently one of the best-reviewed restaurants in town, and it has earned that.
- Catalyst Seafood →
Down at the Port of Brookings Harbor, where the boats come in, Catalyst is the classic coast stop for chowder and fish and chips. Order the clam chowder, grab a window if you can, and watch the harbor traffic. It pairs well with a walk along the docks before or after.
- Black Trumpet Bistro →
When someone asks where to go for a real dinner in Brookings, this is the answer. It's a small, family-owned bistro on Chetco Avenue doing New American food with a strong Italian accent, plus a lot of fresh local seafood. It's cozy and it fills up, so reserve ahead on weekends. Save room: the desserts have their own following, and the crème brûlée is the one people talk about.
